Saviour Lutheran School.
~PURPOSE~
* To assist the Christian home and
church in the vital work of providing a Christ Centered education.
* To meet the needs of the child as
a whole, i.e., intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
* To foster in each child a positive
concept regarding effort, achieve-ment and educational attainment.
* To find and develop the natural
gifts and talents of the child, that he/she may use them in the service of God
and his fellow man.
~CURRICULUM~
* Sound basic education from a
Christian perspective.
* Daily religion classes, regular
devotions, and weekly children's chapel service.
* All subjects prescribed by the
State Board of Education. Upon Graduation from eight grade, students from Our
Saviour can transfer to other schools, public or private, without any
difficulty.
~TEACHERS~
Our teachers are fully committed to providing Christian
education in the traditional classroom setting.
In addition to knowing how to teach a child in the basics of
standard academics, they know how to lead a child into that greatest guidebook
for life, the Bible. they are college graduated in education, and continue to
study through Continuing Education courses and conferences.
~SPECIAL FEATURES~
* Our school is a member of an
association of schools of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod and Wisconsin
Evangelical Lutheran Synod. They supervise instruction, and our teachers are
given the opportunity for continuing education through special conferences and
programs.
* Our children's choir sings
regularly each month during a Sunday morning worship service.
* Individual instruction in small
class groups.
~ENROLLMENT POLICY~
Our Saviour Lutheran School provides an
educational program beginning with kindergarten through the eighth grade.
Normally, children must be five years old by September 1st for kindergarten.
Younger students may be taken at the discretion of the teacher and principal.
Applicants in other grades are admitted on the basis of previous school records
and interviews with the principal.
In view of the fact that the Bible teaches that
God does not show favoritism (James 2:1) Our Saviour Lutheran School
admits any race, color, national and ethnic origin, to all the
rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made
available to students.
